Good evening everyone-
Being, we like to think, fairly affable people, we have been busy once again, responding to the comments of our listener(s)...
We have now set up a coventional stream for listeners who are not sure whether to download STREAMER (http://www.streamerp2p.com) just to listen to us!
It will play in a standard media player such as Windows Media or Winamp, but because we do not have much bandwidth, we have had to limit the number of simultaneous listeners to a mere 3 or 4.
If you like what you hear, we would politely recommend that you download Streamer (which is free, easy to use, and is a miniscule 600KB max. in size, as opposed to Winamp which is 5.3MB minimum!).
For the 'netheads', we would also advise that as we are using a domestic (non-static) IP to stream from, the URL of the stream is liable to change.
For non-netheads, in practice, this means it is very difficult for us to provide permanent 'listen now' links; So to listen you would either need to look us up in the 650 pages of stations on the shoutcast homepage, or email and ask us for the new IP every time you want to listen...
(Which *coughs* is a problem that users with Streamer will not experience! *steps off soapbox*)
To listen with WINAMP
Winamp users have got it easy!
All you need to do is click HERE (http://86.143.106.101:8008/listen.pls) to listen.
(In fact, if you don't mind having it on your hard drive, and you really *MUST* insist on listening via shoutcast, :puke: it's probably worth downloading Winamp, since it's far easier to listen to mp3 streams with than Windows Media Player... err... in our opinion...)
To listen with Windows Media Player
This is a bit trickier, but we've tried it out and it works...
1) RIGHT click HERE (http://86.143.106.101:8008)
(NB:This link is different from the one for Winamp users, above.)
2)Select 'Copy Shortcut'

3)Open Windows Media Player
4)(In windows Media Player) Press 'CTRL' and 'U' on your keyboard at the same time
(or you may prefer to Click on 'File', then select and click on 'Open URL')
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b269/ttradio/grab2.jpg
5)A window like this:
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b269/ttradio/grab3.jpg
will open.
6)Press 'CTRL' and 'V' to paste the link into the address bar.
(or if you prefer, right click and select 'Paste')
7)Press 'Enter' or click on 'OK' and the station will play within a few seconds!
Please try it out, and let us know how you get on, and what you think-
And please feel free to ask for assistance in this topic or HERE (http://www.mysterymermaid.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3006), or by PM or E MAIL (mail@tabletoponlineradio.me.uk) .
(There really is no reason not to...)
We look forward to hearing from you!
